    The story

The plainest drink on this trail and deliberately so: whole milk, good cocoa powder, a little sugar, and absolutely nothing else. No chilli, no salt, no foam art, no spices. It is somebody's grandmother's proportions, written on a card that lives by the till, and we are not going to tell you whose. We put it forward for the trail because we suspect that after six increasingly clever hot chocolates, a plain one made properly will taste like the best thing anyone has had all day. That has been our experience, anyway.

Allergens: milk. Always confirm with venue staff before ordering.

Buy one of the trail drinks and staff will give you the day’s 4-digit code. Stamping is not built yet (§4.1, A1-02).
